Accommodation

The Sea Ranger 36 offers exceptionally spacious and versatile accommodation for up to eight people, making her ideally suited to family cruising and extended stays aboard. The accommodation is arranged over two levels, with generous living space and practical facilities throughout.

The forward cabin features a comfortable V-berth with infill, creating a generous double berth, with storage available for personal belongings. Two further cabins aft each provide double bunk accommodation, while the spacious saloon offers additional sleeping for two.

The bright and comfortable saloon is finished with cream upholstery and features a large L-shaped settee to port, which converts to a double berth, together with a dining table. The midships helm position provides excellent visibility and benefits from a convenient side access door.

The large galley is positioned slightly aft and to starboard and is well equipped for extended cruising. Facilities include a stainless-steel sink, two-burner hob, Cuisinart air fryer, fridge with freezer compartment, Sony radio/CD player and useful storage. There is also a 12V/240V TV with DVD player. 

There are two heads compartments. The forward heads has an electric marine toilet, wash basin and a 40-litre holding tank, while the aft heads is particularly impressive, offering both a shower and full-size bath. The yacht benefits from approximately 1000 litres of fresh water, with pressurised hot water heated via the engine or 240V immersion heater.

A spiral staircase leads from the accommodation to the spacious aft cockpit, providing an excellent outdoor living and entertaining area. Steps from the cockpit lead to the large flybridge, which offers comfortable seating and an array of navigation and engine instrumentation, providing an excellent elevated cruising position.

For additional practicality, the yacht is equipped with a stepped mast and lowering system, making bridge clearance and inland cruising considerably easier.

Mechanical and Rigging

Mechanical systems:

This Sea Ranger 36 Flybridge is powered by twin Ford Lenham 80HP 4-cylinder naturally aspirated engines, which have completed just over 4000 hours as of 6th August 2026. Engines have shaft drives to two fixed 3-bladed bronze propellers. Engines are supplied with two stainless steel fuel tanks, each holding 800 litres.  This Sea Ranger 36 Flybridge will cruise at 7 knots and has a maximum speed of 8 knots. The engines were last serviced by the owner in November 2025.  This motor yacht also benefits from a Lambardini LMG 6000 5KW diesel generator last serviced in November 2025. 

Electrical systems:

This motor yacht is fitted with 4 x 12V 180Ah batteries: 2 x domestic, tested July 2026  2 x engine, new 2026. All are charged by the engine alternator, a 240V battery charger, and a generator. She is also fitted with a 240V ring main system and a 240V hot water immersion heater, and an inverter that was new in 2025. Batteries are monitored by a NASA BM1 Minitor.

History & Construction

Built in 1982, this Sea Ranger 36 Trawler Yacht has a white GRP hull and decks with teak decks. It has flexible seating and a table in the aft cockpit area. Wheel steering, stainless steel stanchions, pulpit.  Glass flybridge screen with binnacle cover. Teak battens to the bathing platform. Self-draining cockpit. Currently in the water awaiting a new owner. The owner has owned the vessel for the past two years and is selling as she is now too big for him to handle on his own. She was last surveyed in 2024.  She was last out of the water in June 2024.
