Fantasea is an exceptionally well-presented Bavaria 39-3 Cruiser, offered in the popular three-cabin, two-head configuration and maintained to a notably high standard by her current owners.

Built in 2006 and originally delivered by Van Den Bosch in Muiderzand, The Netherlands, Fantasea has a well-documented private ownership history. Her current owners acquired her from her previous German owner in September 2011, when the yacht had logged only approximately 1,225 nautical miles.

Since then, she has mainly cruised Dutch waters, including the IJsselmeer, Markermeer, Zeeland, Wadden Sea and North Sea. Following an extensive programme of upgrades and refitting during 2023/2024, Fantasea sailed to Spain in May 2024 and has been based at Port Ginesta, Barcelona, since August 2024. 

Fantasea stands out for her excellent presentation and extensive recent investment. Her Majestic Blue hull was professionally repainted in 2021, while major upgrades include complete replacement of the standing rigging in 2024, Raymarine Axiom 9 navigation, Quantum Doppler radar, renewed battery bank, solar installation, Starlink, upgraded safety equipment and numerous onboard improvements.    

She is powered by the larger Volvo Penta D2-55 diesel engine, with approximately 1,200 hours according to the owner, and is equipped with a Side-Power bow thruster.

Recent 2026 maintenance includes annual engine servicing in May, new antifouling and replacement of the lower rudder bearing with a new JEFA bearing. 

Having personally inspected Fantasea, we consider her to be in immaculate condition for her age, both internally and externally.
