Tortuga is an excellent example of a late bermudan Crabber 24 Mk2 She has had two owners since new and has had very little use from both owners. She is pretty much un marked apart from the odd very minor scuff and is in excellent order. The engine has only 54 hours use and was fully serviced in 2006 and has been run every two weeks. The interior has the optinal extra teak strip headlining. All the stainless steel standing rigging was electronicially tested in 2004. All in all this boat can be described as extreamly well kept and cared for. "As good as new without the new price tag" A 2004 Survey is available.

Mechanical and Rigging
The dark Blue hull was epoxy coated from new by Cornish Crabbers and last antifouled in 2006. (She will be out of the water again in May 2007). Topsides are Manilla/Sand colour.Bermudan Rig instead of the normal gunter rig(easier) Yanmar GM20 2 cylinder 18Hp diesel ( 54 Hrs) Yanmar Gearbox driving conventional propshaft with vetus "Bull flex flexible coupling and earth continuity carbon brushes connected to an anode. Stripper rope cutter and 3 bladed 14" bronze propellor. Tiller steering and morse teleflex engine controls. 12 gallons of fuel in 1 stainless steel tank; 26.5 gallons of water in 1 pillow tank under forward stem locker. ELECTRICAL 2 batteries charged by 55 amp alternator. "Inteligent" 240V charger unit for batteries. Interior lighting individually switched bulkhead lights and two spot lights, 3 cigar type sockets for additional power. Navigation: 360deg masthead white anchor light, Standard navigation lights.240V mains lead with RCD breaker.
