Broker Remarks
The Crabber 24 is a popular seaworthy long keel classic. This example is sail number 48 and has a gaff rigg with topsail. The hull is dark green and the topsides off white. She was constructed in 1997 for the Southampton boat show and was first launched in the summer of 1998. She is well appointed throughout and comes with many valuable extras included in the asking price. The vessel has been lightly used and as a result the engine hours logged are very low for the year. Currently ashore and available for inspection by appointment through ourselves.
Accommodation
Single cabin providing sleeping accommodation for three adults. This consists of a large open double berth in the main cabin and a single quarter berth located aft on the starboard side. If required an extra double berth can be provided in the main cabin above the double berth, however additional cushions and supports would need to be purchased. Upholstery is finished in patterned grey velour. Fully adjustable dining table, mounted onto the mast support which can be stowed at ceiling height or lowered to form the infill support for the main berth. Chart table, ventilation hatch. Numerous lockers distributed throughout the cabin. Open forepeak, access to chain locker. Galley has gimballed gas stove with two burners and a grill. Pumped sink. Two cold boxes, one located behind the stove and the other behind the sink. Plate and mug racks. Sea toilet located in a separate closet. Shelving.
Mechanical and Rigging
Clinker styled hull constructed in GRP, finished in dark green. Off white top sides. 1 x 18 HP Yanmar 2GM20 Diesel with stern drive. 12 gallon fuel tank. 22 gallon water tank. 150 engine hours logged. Mast, boom and gaff are treated douglas fir. The mast is hollow and mounted in a tabernacle for ease of lowering. There is a cross tree for flag halyards and the mast is fitted with running backstays. Jib and staysail are fitted with roller furling gear operated from the cockpit. Mainsail, jib and staysail are tan in colour. Topsail. Total sail area 397 sq ft.

Cockpit spray-hood (maroon in colour), Mainsail cover (maroon in colour), custom made all over winter cover set (maroon in colour), Mercury 3.3hp outboard engine, Yellow Olologata 3 PAX inflatable dinghy (Unused - as new), Horse shoe, Danbuoy, Life lines, Manual windlass, 25 lb Anchor & Chain, Warps, Fenders, Autopilot, 12 volt power socket, Charts, Hand bearing compass and miscellaneous manuals and guides.
