Broker Remarks

This Contest 35S for sale with Network Yacht Brokers Plymouth is one of the best examples of this yacht that I have ever seen she has only seen had two owners from new, her first owner had her for 21 years and second ownership has now been held for 2 years.
The Quality that the Dutch firm are renowned for shines through this yacht,  her condition is excellent and a testament to Contest Yachts and her owners. This Contest 35S had a major refit in 2001 and has been regularly updated since. The engine has been serviced approx. every 100 hours run and in 2008 the injectors and valves were serviced (cylinder head off). She had a new prop shaft and cutlass bearing 2001, manual & automatic bilge pumps. Towed Aquair 100 generator (6kt = 5a/h) with wind powered option and solar panel. Battery charger, invertor, shore power, 12v, Sterling power management control.
The most recent upgrades on this Contest 35S include complete renewal of the standing rigging 2012, Webasto heating, new canvas for the stackpack, cockpit dodgers and sails by Westaway, all done in 2012. She was soda blasted, epoxy coated, primed and antifouled, so the underwater profile is immaculate, all of this was also carried out during 2012.
This Contest 35 has Flexiteak laid decks which the owner assures me has been a godsend when at sea in rough weather, giving excellent grip on deck.
The Contest 35 has stood the test of time and is a fantastic yacht she is equipped for blue water cruising, she handles in all conditions faultlessly.Viewing highly recommended!
