Broker Remarks

This Cobra 1050 is an extremely well updated and well maintained yacht, despite her age her condition is very good and it is clear that she has had loving owners throughout her time.
There has been no expense spared with the upgrades to this yacht, here are a few of the main upgrades that every purchaser is looking for in a modern standard fit out which this yacht has got; replacement engine, recent standing and running rigging replacement, good canvas package, cabin heating, hot & cold pressurised water substantial battery banks, wind generator and a good fridge with ice box to keep the ice cool for the G&T's!!
The Cobra 1050 offers fantastic accommodation with up to three double berths and two single berths in the saloon, there is a spacious head, a good size galley and a full-size chart table. For a boat built in 1982 she was well ahead of the game for layout, she feel proportionate and would be very comfortable for six people.
The Cobra 1050 has been very well constructed, when you stand up on deck she just feels solid, she has bilge keels which is great for crawling up rivers and estuaries but also gives stability in a seaway.
If you are looking for a good value then you should certainly come and take a look at this Cobra 1050!!

Owners Remarks:

The hull is designed for a combination of low wetted surface and high interior volume, giving an easily driven hull form. The outcome therefore is a yacht which is quick and stiff, yet retains sensitivity and speed in light airs. To help achieve this she has been given a light aspect ratio sail plan with a wide selection of headsails and an easily operated reefing system for the fully battened mainsail.
She has been used for cruising in the UK and European waters by the present and previous owners. For 2 years she was used as a home from home on a marina berth with regular cruising during this period.
