2004 Arvor 230
The 2004 Arvor 230 is a very versatile fishing boat, featuring a large cockpit and excellent deck access, they are often preferred to the more common, later 230 AS due to their larger wheelhouse, more balanced look, and superior windscreen design. The current owners have not been disappointed with the fuel economy on the vessel.
Accommodation
Open plan wheelhouse with a helm seat to starboard and a small galley to port consisting of a single burner gas cooker, sink with cold water supply, and storage areas. Forward cabin with wrap around seating area which converts into two berths with marine toilet beneath. Spacious cockpit with corner seating, rod holders, lockers, and generous side decks for easy access forward. Radio/CD, DVD Player and a new Avtex 19inch Smart TV, linked to Axiom+.
Mechanical and Rigging
Mechanical Systems:
Located under cockpit sole, Nanni 4.330 TDI 4-cylinder 115hp turbo diesel engine (600 hours as of 21st July 2022). Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls. Hydraulic wheel steering. Shaft drive to fixed propeller. Engine instrumentation including RPM and hours, and oil/temperature/battery warning lights. Trim tabs. Engine last serviced November 2022, cutlass and inboard bearings replaced 2020, last out of water maintenance November 2022. Gas system last certified 2017.
Electrical System
1 x 12-volt domestic battery 1 x 12-volt engine battery Batteries both 2018 charging via engine alternator and solar panel.

History and Construction
Arvor 230 built by Arvor in 2004 to their own design. Blue GRP semi-planing hull with protective skeg. White superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Large self-draining cockpit with ample storage lockers. Category C rated for up to 6 people. Walk-through transom with moulded bathing platform. Windows have been newly re-sealed and a new roof hatch has been fitted. Sea cocks and through hull fittings have also been newly replaced. Last anti-fouled and anodes replaced in November 2022.
