Mechanical and Rigging
Engines are 2xVolvo TAMD41B approx 1900 hours. They have been serviced annually and have had pre-emptive maintenance as required. Shaft drive to 4 bladed bronze propellers, stainless steel shafts (new in 2021 (P) and 2023 (S) ) carried in bronze 'P' brackets. Al 4cutless bearings renewed at the same time plus new 'Tides Marine' shaft seals fitted.

Generator Fischer Panda 4kw, new 2014, fresh water cooled with heat exchanger, in standard sound hood. Charges batteries and provides 240v when not on shore power for water heater, microwave, fridge and ring main. Hours approx 135.
Large capacity automatic extinguisher in engine space fitted beneath saloon floor.
Engine space also contains a battery charge unit powered by 240v AC from shore power or generator.
The seawater suctions for the main engines and generator are fitted with Vetus filter bowls with easily removable lids and bowls for cleaning of weed or other ingested debris.
Bow thruster nicely powerful 7hp QL Volvo side-power operates from upper helm position.
Inventory
General
Built by Aquastar in 1992 this is a well maintained example of these rugged,
popular and attractive motor yachts.
It is British Part 1registered and is VAT paid. The hull construction is GRP in white with blue stripes and has the benefit of substantial teak badging to
the quarters and sides.
Thick rubber "D" fendering surrounds the entire vessel. Al the deck
surfaces have a moulded non-slip finish and painted with non-skid deck paint, the aft deck having an overlay of teak.
Al hatches, port-lights and doors are of the high quality 'Gebo' brand and are anodised aluminium. Sliding wheelhouse doors are fitted on both sides; in addition there is a rear door from the aft deck making access easy in all situations.

Solid guardrails and stanchions all round with gates at sides adjacent to doors.
Stainless radar arch folds flat to reduce air-draft.
Stainless handrails on sides of coachroof.
2 large storage lockers for lines etc.at rear of aft deck doubling as extra seating with purpose made removable cushions and backs.
1 single and 1 double seat at forward end of aft deck. The backs of these seats flip forward to provide rear facing seats for socialising with removable cockpit table. Seat covers new in 2023. Under-seat lockers provide storage for gas bottles and sundries.

3 two-speed pantograph windscreen wipers with individual motors and fresh water washers. New wiper blades 2025.
2 life rings mounted on coachroof plus one horseshoe type mounted on aft rail equipped with automatic light.
4 man Ocean Safety canister life raft mounted on coachroof, (new 2024) and fitted with hydrostatic release (new 2025).
The upper steering position has full engine instrumentation and twin single-lever Morse controls, plus bow thruster control, trim tab control, Garmin 7" chart plotter/fishfinder/depth (2018), steering compass, air horn, 12v socket for search-light. Autopilot control and speed / depth display, new lcd screens 2024.
The vessel is fitted with Bennett trim tabs operated from either helm position
Electrical system consists of 6 x12v batteries: last battery change 2024 with 3 new batteries for domestic circuit.
Each engine has its own battery plus one for the generator. Engine batteries can be paralleled together if required.
240v supply from shore power or generator with shore power socket at upper helm. Agalvanic isolator is fitted.
Fresh water tank capacity is 400 litres from deck filler on port side. Tank is fibreglass below lower cabin sole. Contents gauge in galley. Hot and cold pressure fed system to galley and both heads. Aquafilta charcoal filter fitted in galley. Water heating is by calorifier (new 2024) supplied from port main engine and a 240v immersion heater.
Fuel tank capacity is 1300 litres split between 2 aluminium tanks from deck fillers on port side deck. Gauges at lower steering position. Main engines have Racor fuel filters/water separators in addition to the engine mounted filters.
Bilge pumps. 1 Plastimo large capacity manual pump and 1 automatic battery-operated pump with manual override. Warning lamp fitted at helm
position.

In summary, a well-built and well maintained boat in good condition with reliable twin engines and powerful bow-thruster which is easy to manoeuvre in tight situations and is comfortable at sea.
Fuel consumption over the past 4years has averaged an economical total of 2.67 gallons per hour, i.e. 1.33 gallons per hour per engine; this at my normal cruising speed of 9 to 10 knots.

Fuel and oil filters are changed every year, along with anodes on hulll, shafts, bow thruster and inside main heat exchangers. Changed from zinc to aluminium (except thruster anode which is n/a in aluminium) in 2025. Hull polished.
New impellers fitted to generator engine and main engines.
Fresh water Aquafilta changed annually and tank cleaned out. Underwater hull is Coppercoated
