Shorthanded sailing is easy in the Hallberg-Rassy 46. It is both high pointing, fast and seakindly. This is a yacht made to go around the world or cruise in local waters. This Hallberg-Rassy 46 has completed the ARC. There is space for all the modern comfort aids. Hull & deck GRP with teak overlay on deck. Production under the supervision of Lloyds. The hull is insulated above the water line. Deck is GRP sandwich construction, 35mm for strength and insulation. The lead keel is attached with stainless steel bolts. The mast is stepped on a base on the cabin top directly over a reinforced bulkhead. Cockpit protected by permanent windscreen in tempered glass in light allot frames. The middle panel opens. Sprayhood of synthetic material with aluminium frames. Handrails, companionway, hatch guides, sole and seats in cockpit are all in solid Bangkok teak. The cabin is done in selected mahogany, hand rubbed and treated to a silk smooth finish. The sea going galley so arranged that one can work safely even in heavy seas and has a deep double sinks and a well insulated icebox. A fine example of this trusted cruiser and maintained in top order. Located c 50 min from Dublin Airport. €U VAT paid.

Accommodation

Traditional Hallberg-Rassy mahogany interior beautifully finished in eggshell varnish. 
The hull is lined throughout with mahogany slats providing insulation and ventilation behind joinery and soft furnishings. 
Fitted "pop on" carpet mats over timber floors.
Forward cabin with "V" berth with excellent storage beneath the berths and with lockers above, Overhead access and ventilation hatch.
Twin cabin to port side with upper and lower bunks with stowage beneath the bunks. Hanging locker and deck opening hatch.
Heads with separate shower compartment to starboard, wash basin toilet, stowage above and below the basin, electric pump shower holding tank.
Spacious saloon with settee berth to starboard and "L" shaped settee berth to port with hinge up seat backs to form additional sea berth with lee cloth. Opening deck hatch and opening ports in the coachroof. 
Navigation station to port side and galley to starboard. Galley with double stainless sinks, three burner cooker with oven and grill. Top opening fridge with ice making compartment.
Spacious aft cabin with double berth and central dressing chair. Shower and heads with separate shower compartment.
Engine access via the companionway to the aft cabin.
