Broker Remarks

The Sadler 34 offers quick, sea-kindly performance and cleverly arranged accommodation, making her a favourite for serious cruising sailors. Straitshooter’s current owner having enjoyed her since 1994. She presents as a well-maintained and comprehensively equipped cruising yacht, ideal for extended voyages or coastal exploration.

Designed by Martin Sadler and built by Sadler Yachts Ltd in Poole, she features the distinctive PU foam-cored hull offering built-in buoyancy for added safety. Fitted with a cast iron shallow fin keel and a skeg-hung rudder, she delivers predictable offshore handling while also allowing access to shallower anchorages. As with most of her class, she is tiller steered, providing a responsive helm and more practical cockpit layout.

If you’ve been waiting for the right Sadler 34, this is a sound, well-travelled, and capable example that’s ready for her next chapter.

 REMARKS

Well maintained and thoughtfully outfitted, this Sadler 34 is a highly capable and proven cruising yacht. Her shallow keel opens up more anchorages while still offering solid upwind performance. This yacht is ideally suited for a couple or small crew seeking offshore reliability and Mediterranean comfort.

 HISTORY

Purchased by current owners in North Wales in 1994. Cruised to the Netherlands in 1997 and the Baltic in 2002. Sailed extensively in France, Spain, Corsica, Sardinia, Italy and Greece from 2004 to 2007. Based in the Aegean Sea from 2010 to 2022.
