History & Construction:

Built by Eric Birch Yachts of Essex from 1971, this Frank Butler designed craft was already a huge hit in the states as the Catalina 27. Built primarily as a cost effective and affordable offshore vessel she allowed faster and longer passages to be made with a bit of performance to boot. This Jaguar 27 has a white GRP hull with separate deck and cockpit mouldings, with a fin keel . Deep self draining cockpit that offers shelter from the elements and ideal for families with small children and can accommodate 6 adults with ease and is comfortable due to the angled coamings that double as back rests. Stowage is brilliant with a deep port side locker, rope locker to starboard and a lazarette for fuel, gas and numerous marine equipment. This yacht was last out of the water in in 2021 when she was antifouled, anodes changed and hull polished.  The owner is selling as he is buying a larger yacht. The owner has had this yacht for the past 21 years.
