Broker Remarks

Brokers Remarks:
This is one of the best lm 27 examples you are likely to see; she underwent a total refit from 2005 until 2014, which included the whole hull deck & superstructure being re-gelcoated! She has a replacement Beta Marine 35hp engine, new rigging and a recent new mainsail. Her condition is excellent!! Don't miss out on this one!

Owners Remarks:

“Siren” formerly “Bon Temps” and “Eliza III” was built in 1982 and spent the first 23 years of her life as a Spanish registered boat sailing the seas off Majorca and Minorca.
In 2005 her then-owner commenced a refit, having her stored ashore in Majorca and her hull epoxy coated by a specialist. She remained ashore in storage for the next five years and was subsequently shipped to the UK and put on the market.
She was purchased as a project in 2010 by a local resident following a survey which proved that whilst very tired, she was in essence, a sound boat.
She was shipped by road to Fowey in Cornwall and a total rebuild was undertaken. Once totally stripped of her fittings, her hull and topsides were re-gellcoated by a specialist to as-new condition.
Original fittings were refurbished where possible and her rebuild included a total rewire from scratch, a new Beta 35hp engine, aluminium windows made to order in Denmark, re-plumbing, new navigation and electrical hardware, new upholstery, Eberspacher heating and a remodelled galley along with new furling gear and sails.
The original interior design in the main was kept to - although various improvements have been made to keep the vessel up to date.
Since we purchased her in 2015 we have sailed extensively in her along the south coast from Dorset to Cornwall and in 2018 we completed a 3-month trip clockwise around the UK including the Isle of Man, The Crinan Canal and the Caledonian Canal.
She is currently out of the water for her annual maintenance - antifouling and anode change. The engine has been maintained annually.
“Siren” is in outstanding condition; she sails beautifully and is only for sale due to our change of circumstances - we are retiring from sailing.
