This 2007 Arvor 250AS, built by Arvor to their own design, offering two berths in one cabin this vessel  is ideally suited for both fishing and leisure cruising, offering a blend of comfort, practicality, and solid performance. The vessel features a spacious self-draining cockpit, an enclosed wheelhouse, and a compact galley.

Equipped with Raymarine navigation electronics, including a Raymarine Element 12 chartplotter, depth gauge, speed log, and VHF radio.

The current owners have enjoyed this Arvor 250AS since 2017, but are now selling due to lack of time to use the boat. In 2023, the vessel was ashore for routine maintenance, which included antifouling, fitting of new anodes, and repacking of the cutlass bearing. This vessel is due to be lifted on the 19th of May 2025 for re antifouling, new anodes and hull polish. This work is estimated time take 3 weeks.

Accommodation

This Arvor 250AS offers two berths in a single cabin, with 6’1” headroom in the wheelhouse.

The interior features an open-plan layout, with booth seating and a central table in the forward cabin area. This space benefits from under-seat storage and shelving to both port and starboard. The booth also converts into a double berth using an infill cushion.

Amidships to port is the galley, which is equipped with a single stainless-steel sink with pressurised cold water, a single gas burner hob, a 12V fridge, and cupboard storage.

To starboard, the heads compartment includes a marine sea toilet and a single stainless-steel sink with cold water.

Ascending the steps into the wheelhouse, you’ll find a double helmsman's seat to starboard, along with engine controls, a Raymarine Element 12 chartplotter, and additional Raymarine navigation equipment including a depth gauge, speed log, and VHF radio. All vessel control switches are also located here.

This Arvo 250AS includes a Webasto diesel cabin heater, a 30 Litre fresh water capacity, a radio/cd player with cockpit and wheelhouse speakers.

This vessel benefits from a spacious aft cockpit, featuring collapsible bench seating to both port and starboard. The main wheelhouse is offset to starboard, allowing for easy access to the foredeck via the port side. The cockpit also provides access to the 2007 four-cylinder Mercruiser Cummins diesel engine, a large in-deck storage locker, two transom-mounted storage boxes, and a transom door leading to the stern bathing platform.

Mechanical and Rigging

Mechanical Systems:

This Arvor 250AS is powered by a 2007 four-cylinder Mercruiser Cummins 230hp turbo diesel engine located beneath the cockpit sole. The engine benefits from a newly fitted turbo installed in 2024 at 1,124 hours and drives a shaft-mounted, three-bladed fixed propeller.

This engine is indirectly cooled via a heat exchanger and operated using single-lever Morse controls. Fuel is supplied from a 300-litre plastic tank. The vessel comes with service history receipts, and the engine was last serviced by the owner in 2024. The cutlass bearing was repacked in 2023. This vessel has a cruising speed of approximately 14 knots under the engine and has a maximum speed of approximately 21 knots.  This vessel benefits from morse controls and trim tabs.  

Electrical System

2 x 12v Batteries (1 x Domestic, 120Ah, 2017 + 1 x Engine battery, 120Ah, 2017) All batteries are charged via the engine alternator and a 240V battery charger. This Arvor 250as benefits from a 240v ring with sockets throughout the vessel.

History and Construction

This Arvor 250as was built by Arvor in 2007 to their own design. The current owners have enjoyed the vessel since 2017 and are looking to sell the vessel as they no longer have time to use it.

This vessel design prioritizes a balance of comfort, practicality, and performance, especially for fishing and recreational boating. It features a spacious, self-draining cockpit, an enclosed wheelhouse, a compact galley, and sleeping accommodations.
