Constructed and fitted out to a very high standard by professional Master Mariner this beautiful River Barge has just undergone a full paint job and winter maintenance program. She is perfect in all details and ready to go back in the water. True 'turn key condition'. The present owner has already purchased his new sailing boat and has reduced the price to encourage prompt sale. Recent photos show vessel in paint shop and on the hard standing. (Taken Dec 2008).First class build from RLL boats in Bristol. Hull is 10mm. Topsides 8mm. Superstructure 6mm. Hull sides were formed using one piece of steel from stern to bow. Frames are 40cms apart. This is a very strong construction, buily to last. Wheelhouse adds room and comfort whilst cruising. Bedroom has a 'four poster' raised double bed (large storage area underneath) with interior sprung mattress. Triple fitted wardrobe, bedside cabinet, writng desk. TV/video. Central heating. Access to foredeck. Bathroom is full size with large (90cms x 90cms) walk-in shower. Toilet is fitted to 50 gallon holding tank. Central heating and heated towel rail. Vanity unit, 220v and 12v lighting. Hall contains radiator, coat rack and built-in laundry unit. The wheelhouse is of fixed construction in steel (air draft 2.7m) large dinette and seating for 8 plus helm position. The galley, also with dinette (which converts to a double bed) is full size, as are all the domestic appliances. The salon is 3.65m x 3.65m with leather sofas and custom furniture. There is a guest toilet with hand basin off the galley. A hallway leading to the Master suite, with four poster bed, fitted wardrobes, writing desk and side table. Access to foredeck from main cabin. Bathroom is full size with large stall shower, toilet and sink with vanity unit. Fully tiled. During construction by Master boat builders RLL boats of Bristol, she was lined out with 9mm ply and all bulkheads were cavity wall construction with double 9mm facing. Lined with fibreglass insulation. The interior hull was spray foam insulated and then finished with the best materials available, never compromising on quality. Full gas central heating, gas cooking. Large water tank (3000 litres) 2 x 225 litre holding tanks and 1000 litres of fuel. Comes complete with all fixtures and fittings including TV and DVD. Fully fitted carpets throughout. The hull was completed in December 2002 and the interior fitted out over the next 2 years. Designed as a home first and foremost, but with the ability to cruise the British and European inland waterways, she is a bespoke home, designed for comfortable living. Please note: This vessel was designed as a permanent live aboard for two people and although she can sleep 8 she has only one permanent double berth. However the lower dinette can be converted into a permanent twin cabin if required. The vessel is suitable for tidal waters and continental waterways. The Yanmar engine is specially designed for barges. 3:1 reduction box. fixed shaft and 20" three bladed prop. Engine hours 39. Engine is keel cooled. There are no skin fittings below the water line. 2 x 135 amp/hour service batteries. 1 x 75amp/hour start battery(new 2006). Mastervolt battery charged fitted 2006.
