Sunseeker Luxury Motor Yachts Company Based in the UK Year of Formation 1970

Sunseeker began as a very small business. The original company Poole Power Boats didn’t build their own yachts, instead they imported them. It was in the 1970s that Sunseeker started to create their own boats moulding and fitting them together. Today Sunseeker are known to be one of the finest yacht builders in the world. Sunseekers yachts’ building material is all made by Sunseeker and they own 2,500 factories across the world, to create the most desirable and luxurious yacht on the sea.

Sunseeker or (Poole Power Boats) as they were first known used to import boats from Scandinavia and the USA when they first started out in the late 60’s. In 1970 at their first boat show they were approached by a boat dealer from the South of France and were asked to make him a boat all in white and with a sun bathing platform on the back.

This was the first break through for Sunseeker until they started developing aggressive deep V racing hulls with Don Shead and so it went on to mass produce performance hulls with comfortable luxury accommodation to clients all over the world.

Sunseeker now set the gold standard for performance cruisers and tri decks from 47ft up to 46m. They are the world leader in innovative design and Sunseeker yachts embody luxury, style and finesse.
