All Pogo Structures Boats For Sale

Pogo Structures is a sailboat (and more recently motorboat) builder, founded in 1987 by Christian Bouroullec in Quimper, France.

In 1990 the yard moved to Combrit-Sainte-Marine. They build both racing and cruising sailboats, specialising in light, high-performance designs that can handle short-handed or solo offshore sailing.

They build their cruising range with lifting keels (where applicable) to combine performance with shallower draft or better versatility.

Key Strengths & Reputation

Light weight, high form stability hulls. Their designs are fast, and generally considered well engineered.   Designs often come from high profile naval architects: Finot-Conq for the cruisers, Guillaume Verdier for the more race-oriented programmes.   Good reputation among owners for being offshore capable even in smaller sizes, value retention, sensible minimalist interiors.

Here are some models that are well known, with some that are still in production and some classics that carry the heritage:

  • Pogo 6.50           Pierre Rolland / Mini class 6.5m One of their original racing designs. Proven in Minis / Mini-Transat races.
  • Pogo 8.50           Pierre Rolland / 1999-2010  8.5m  Cruiser-racer; wide beam, twin rudders, fun to sail; a classic entry point into the Pogo style.
  • Pogo 10.50        Finot-Conq / more recent  10.5m  Offers a larger cruising space with performance credentials.
  • Pogo 30              Finot-Conq / since  2013  9.14 m / 30 ft  Available with swing keel or fin keel; strong for fast cruising.
  • Pogo 36              Finot-Conq 10.86 m More room, stepping up for those wanting more comfort without sacrificing speed.
