Sigma 33 c for sale.  The ‘C’ denotes cruiser and KINGFISHER of GOSPORT is the cruising version of this comfortable cruiser / racer.  Thes Sigma 33c had a shorter masthead rig, smaller sails and shallower keel than the racing version.  Built by Marine Projects in Plymouth in mid 1989.  Her topsides are finished in white gel coat with a Red boot top and stripe above a moulded cove line.  Moisture readings were last taken in 2015 and were found to be particularly low for a vessel of this age.  This Sigma 33c is currently afloat in Salcombe, Devon and available for viewing.

KINGFISHER was built in 1989 and offers seven berths in two cabins. Foreward V berth with infill to create double with storage.  Moving aft is the heads compartment with marine toilet and sink to port and hanging locker opposite.

Further aft is the saloon with convertible settee berths on both sides, the port settee converts to a double.  Above the starboard settee is a pipe cot.  A large drop sided table is situated on the centreline which can seat five.

The galley is L shaped to starboard and has a stainless steel sink with pressurised cold water tap, gimballed  two burner cooker with oven and grill, stainless steel sink.  There is plenty of storage for cutlery , crockery and supplies.

Opposite the galley is the chart table with navigation equipment, chart light, switch panel and stowage. Behind the chart table is a quarter berth with port light to cockpit.

This Sigma 33 c is powered by a Volvo Penta MD 2002 18hp marine diesel engine, shaft drive to a three bladed propeller.

It is thought that the standing rigging was replaced approximately 10 years ago but this has not been confirmed.  The yacht is in generally sound condition and although she would benefit from some cosmetic refurbishment it is apparent  that she has been generally well maintained and not heavily used.
