Interior Sagitta 35

This Sagitta 35 was built by Sagitta /Bianca Yachts, Denmark in 1972 to a design by Sparkman and Stephens.  I asked the owner what was the best thing about this boat, he said without hesitation ‘she sails really well upwind and is an exceptional seaboat’- not surprising when designed by Sparkman and Stephens.

She was built as a racer /cruiser in 1972 and  is a beautiful well proportioned boat with a spacious cockpit.  The Sagitta 35 is easy on the eye and offers a fabulous , solid sailing performance.  A rare classic not often on the market in the UK so an opportunity not to be missed for those who lean toward traditional yachts of the 70’s and 80’s.

This Sagitta 35 offers a fin keel, tiller steering, a Volvo Penta engine (2003) and a Pacific Plus wind pilot.

She was re-rigged in 2016 and has slab mainsail reefing and headsail furling, her main and genoa are 2008 and 2005.

This Sagitta 35 can sleep six in a double and four single berths.

JO JO II of Findhorn has been in her current ownership for 10 years and has been lovingly restored and maintained during that ownership; she has also been sailed to Ireland as well as extensive coastal cruising.  She is reluctantly for sale now as circumstances have changes and the owner is to be more land based after spending a lot of his life sailing.

This Sagitta 35 had an osmosis treatment in 2007 and was re- gel coated. Her hull is looking immaculate and is gleaming ( as can be seen from the picture) JO JO II has been well cared for and has a very distinctive grey hull complimented by pale grey sprayhood and sail covers. She is currently ashore at Noss on Dart Marina and available for viewing.
