Brokerage Service

Network Yacht Brokers Newcastle offers a full brokerage service to clients who wish to sell their vessel. We act on behalf of the vendor in any sale process between them and a purchaser to ensure the transfer of ownership process of any vessel is carried out safely, legally and fairly for both parties. Charges for this service only become due when the vessel is sold and are agreed, as a percentage of the final selling price, in a signed listing agreement at the beginning of the process.

What we do for Vendors

  1. Research the boating market for pricing information on boats both ‘Sold‘ and ‘For Sale’ to assist the Vendor in reaching a decision regarding the price the vessel is advertised for sale.
  2. Help the owner prepare a comprehensive list of relevant details of the vessel and its inventory.
  3. Prepare a web based marketing file, which when fully approved, is published on various websites to ensure maximum exposure of vessel to prospective purchasers.
  4. Place adverts in various magazines appropriate for the type of vessel.
  5. Display vessel’s details in brokerage office window.
  6. Make available the vessels details to the other brokers in the Network.
