Local Events happening through the Summer

22nd July (Running throughout July and August) – Liverpool’s Old Dock Tours
Merseyside Maritime Museum, Albert Dock, Liverpool Waterfront, Liverpool L3 4AQ

Rated as one of the top things to do in Liverpool by Trip Advisor the Old Dock Tours offer the chance to discover how the docks played a huge part in the development of Liverpool from expert tour guides. The tours are free and are running on a large number of dates throughout July and August.

24th – 26th July – On the Rocks Festival
The Mulberry Pub, Conwy Marina

Head down to Conwy Marina this coming weekend to experience a weekend of live music and real ale. A line-up of local talent will be playing across Friday, Saturday and Sunday against a backdrop of the beautiful views of Conwy Marina. Tickets are available from The Mulberry.

25th July – Red Bull Harbour Reach 2015
Liverpool, Albert Dock

Red Bull Harbour Reach 2015 Red Bull’s Harbour Reach is, for the third time, bringing the world’s best wakeboarders to Liverpool. The 2015 event is free for all attendees and will showcase athletes from all over the world demonstrating the very best of wakeboarding skills. Special guests include the reigning Red Bull harbour Reach champion, James Windsor, all the way from Australia!

26th July – North Wales Half Marathon
Starting and Finishing at the Beacons Beach located near to Conwy Marina

The North Wales Half Marathon, starting and finishing near to Conwy Marina this race crosses it’s participants into areas of the stunning Snowdonia National Parks. Starting at 11am why not stop by to see the race starting and support the runners. See www.runwales.com for more information.

26th July – Try Out Fishing
Tan-y-Mynydd Trout Fishery, Moelfre, Abergele, Conwy, LL22 9RF

An introduction to angling event is being offered by Denbigh and Clwyd Angling Club. The event is free and tackle will be provided. Free expert advice will be on offer throughout the day from qualified instructors and local experts and there will also be fly tying and fly casting demonstrations.
Starting at 9:30am at Moelfre this chance to try fishing as a sport will take place until 4pm.

8th – 12th August – Abersoch Regatta Week
Abersoch Main Beach

A whole week of fun on the water – Why not try The Great Raft Race, with both junior and adult races on Tuesday 11th August. The juniors race starts at 6:45pm and the adults race starts at 7:00pm so get building your raft and join in the fun.
