'Gwaihir' is a Seachange 43 cruising yacht for sale in Lymington. The Seachange 43 was designed by David Dry and Julian Everitt and built by the Woof Boatyard of Exeter. Her design goals were to produce a cruising yacht that was comfortable to live on, safe in all weather conditions and would give excellent cruising performance. Over the years, all of these goals have proven to be reached. She is Yawl rigged with an enclosed pilothouse and cockpit helm position.
Her present owner has completely refitted ' Gwaihir '. Her teak decks are new as is the standing rigging all her mechanical systems have either been replaced or refurbished,this includes the hydraulic steering, webasto heating, hot water and windlass. The Ford 85hp engine has had a complete refurbishment. She has been fully rewired with marine grade electrics.
For cruising comfort, all her headlines have been replaced and she is fully insulated. All upholstery has been replaced, she has a new diesel heater and hot and cold pressurised water.
