Broker Remarks
"Promise", Westerly Berwick (1979). Demand for 31 foot bilge keelers came to the fore in the mid 70's. The availability of smaller Westerly's such as the Centaur, Pageant and Warwick had been extremely successful in this design. The Berwick's long waterline length gives her a good turn of speed while the transom stem provides a roomy and safe cockpit. Accommodation
Accommodation comprises 5 berths in 2 cabins. The forecabin has a double v berth with storage beneath and hanging lockers. Saloon has 2 single berths with a quarter berth. The forward portside also provides the space for the heads with a marine toilet, washbasin and water supply. There is a hanging locker opposite the heads. The saloon has generous seating, with a fixed saloon table to port.
The galley is on the starboard side and has a two burner gas stove with oven, a stainless steel sink with foot pumped cold water supply, locker storage and a cool box. The boat is carpeted throughout. Aft of the companionway steps there is a chart table to port.

Construction:-
Built in 1979 by Westerly Yachts. Hull, deck and superstructure moulded in white GRP with, cast Iron twin keels with semi-balanced rudder improves manoeuvrability in tight spaces under power and easy handling on the tiller when sailing. Internal joinery in teak and teak faced plywood.
