Space is the keyword for this Dutch steel-built motorboat. This Vrijbuiter 1280 is an ideal family cruiser with lots of space inside and on the decks, with large flybridge, with teak decking. Would make an ideal liveaboard. Viewing highly recommended.
Accommodation
The Vrijbuiter offer 6 berths in 3 cabins on entering the saloon via the port or starboard side doors you have a large open plan saloon with two sofa berths finished in grey upholstery to port and starboard, a large two leaf table occupies the central area, part carpeted. Helm to port with full instrumentation. Fully equipped galley to starboard, gas hob with four burners, Panasonic combi microwave and full oven, fridge/coolbox can be converted to either, washing machine. Access from the galley area to the forward cabin with full vee berth, with wardrobe, marine heads, and small sink. Aft cabin with full walk around island double bed, two full length wardrobes with surrounding storage areas, with electric heads with holding tank to starboard, and shower with vanity unit to port. Throughout the boat there is a lot of storage areas. Heated throughout via an Eberspacher diesel heating system, also a mobile air conditioning unit. The large aft deck, then a couple of steps up to the flybridge with three seats and two storage boxes, and more space for relaxing and sunbathing.
Mechanical and Rigging
Powered via single 1991 Volvo Penta TAMD41B turbocharged 165hp six-cylinder diesel engine with approximately 1965 hours, shaft drive to a four bladed bronze propeller with rope cutter, single lever Morse control. Bowthruster, and 1000 litre fuel capacity. The engine was last serviced in August 2019 and the last out of water maintenance was done at this time. There is partial service history.
Electrical Systems
5 x 12-volt batteries charging from the engine alternator, onboard generator 2016, Victron battery charger 2016. Shorepower connection with 240-volt ring main.

History and Construction
Built in 1991 in Holland the Vrijbuiter 1280 is of steel construction with a semi displacement hull, with painted white hull and superstructure, teak decks. The current owner used the boat on the French canals in the south of France. The boat is currently back in the UK for sale.
