Broker Remarks

The Fairline Turbo 36 is a very spacious boat with excellent accommodation including a full-width en-suite aft cabin and good sized saloon. This example has the Volvo Penta TAMB41 6 cylinder 220HP engines, excellent navigation equipment, central heating and much more. Priced to sell - well worth viewing. Owner is selling as looking to move to a large vessel. 2020 Insurance survey currently being undertaken.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to 7 berths in 3 cabins with over 6’2’’ headroom. The forward cabin has two single V berths with stowage beneath and the infill to create a large double, together with hanging lockers aft to port and starboard.

Moving aft, the galley is located to port and equipped with a four-burner gas hob, oven with grill, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, twin sinks and good storage.  Immediately opposite the galley to starboard is the main heads compartment with marine toilet fitted with a 100-litre holding tank, shower and basin. The sallon has a TVwith DVD player and stereo system.

The central saloon, which has six-foot headroom along with the interior helm position to starboard, is on a higher level than the galley giving excellent visibility with steps down fore and aft to galley and cabins and steps up to the aft deck. Comfortable seating is provided by an L-shaped settee to port and second settee to starboard which converts to a double berth. An adjustable-height saloon table with folding leaves offers comfortable space for six adults to dine and ample storage is provided in lockers and beneath berths.  

To the stern is the full-width owner's cabin with island double berth, excellent storage in various lockers and an en-suite heads compartment with marine toilet, washbasin and shower.

Pressurised hot and cold water supply throughout via a 75-litre calorifier with immersion coil. The boat is fitted with an 8KW diesel warm air heating to all cabins. Light Tan upholstery in the saloon, with complimenting carpets, curtains and cushion throughout. The spacious interior has light wood finishes, white headlining and large windows to make the most of natural light and good ventilation is provided via various opening hatches, vents and windows.

Externally, the aft deck gives plenty of space for seating with the flybridge providing further useful seating as well as excellent all-round visibility at the helm. The radar arch folds to add further versatility.

Mechanical and Rigging

Mechanical Systems:

Located under the saloon sole, twin Volvo Penta TAMB 41 220hp 6-cylinder turbo diesel engines. Fresh water cooled. Twin lever controls at both helm positions with electric start. Shaft drives to 4-bladed bronze propellers. Approximate cruising speed of 15-16 knots with a maximum of 22 knots. 1000 Litre fuel capacity in two stainless steel tanks giving a range of around 300nm. Vetus  bowthruster. Full engine instrumentation.

The engines were last service in December 2019 by the owner. The Gas system was last checked in January 2020

 

Electrical Systems:

4x12V batteries new 2019 (2 x 135AH domestic and 2 x 110 engine batteries) charging via engine alternators. Shorepower system with ring mains, battery charger and immersion coil. Full cabin lighting. Portable 4KVA petrol generator- new 2019 plus a 2KW inverter.

Construction:

Fairline Turbo 36 designed by Bernard Olesinski and built-in 1990 by Fairline Boats PLC. White GRP planing hull, superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Hinged radar arch which can fold down easily for bridge access, reducing air draft from 4.8m to 3.48m.

This example Fairline 36 Turbo has been in her current ownership for 3 years. She is ready for her next owners to enjoy having been well maintained and upgraded with various important items such as new navigation equipment. The vessel is booked to be lifted, antifouled, hull polished and anodes changed as soon as lock-down has been lifted.
