I purchased "Sea Jade" in 2002 for sea angling purposes. She is a sturdy, economical, reliable, sea kindly and simplistic boat and I will be truly sorry to part company with her.

Mechanical and Rigging
GRP 4 Cylinder BMC 1500cc 30 HP shaft driven diesel engine. Estimated fuel consumption: 0.50 gph 3 blade propellar 13.5 x 10 T x 700 SS controls Hurth 10-2R 2:1 gearbox Engine spares to include belts, hoses, impellors etc 2 x 12v Batteries (Snowdon/Lucus) 2002 1 x St.steel fuel tank - 14 gallons 1 x Plastic water tank - 5 gallons Manual pump for fresh watersystem Engine reconditioned 1999 Engine serviced last serviced in June 2009, although "Sea Jade" is serviced annually by Roving Marine services During lift out in August 2009, the following work was carried out:- Antifouling Painting of hull, superstructure and decks Fitting of new propellor Re-packing of stern gland/tube Fitting of new anodes. If unable to go to sea, the engine is run, under load for 1 hour every 14 days and all systems run and tested. Fixed anodes are supplemented by hanging anode linked to the common circuit. The only known defects are as follows:- Manual bilge pump requires attention.
