Broker Remarks

Swan 38 for sale.  Built by Nautor Swan in 1976, designed by Sparkman and Stephens and in extremly good condition.  She has been well maintained and regularly updated.  The engine was re-conditioned in 2013 and has been serviced annually.  Her standing rigging was replaced in 2011 and her sail wardrobe has been updated.

The forepeak cabin was originally concieved as a sail locker as there are no sail lockers in the cockpit and two of the single berths in the saloon are cot berths (with lee cloths).

If you are reading this, you almost certainly won't need us to tell you what a delightful and gorgeous boat this is. The Swan 38 is iconic, and comes from an era when Sparkman and Stephens could do no wrong. MYRTLE is in very fine fettle, and will be a wonderful boat for her next owner, whether for blue water cruising or for coastal hopping or even for seeing off some of the younger whipper snappers around the cans!
