The Jeanneau 43DS was a very successful and popular yacht from Jeanneau. She is a comfortable and very spacious passage maker, easily handled by a couple or a short handed crew.

The living area below is particularly bright and airy, thanks to the deck saloon layout, and affords excellent views out whilst dinning or relaxing in comfort on passage.

She also features a spacious fwd double en-suite cabin and twin aft double cabins (with a second shower/heads) and an extremely large L shaped galley that is very workable both at sea and in port.

A great feature is that the two aft cabins can convert to one very spacious centerline double. - (See layout & photos)

Accommodation

Descending the companionway steps into the saloon you immediately notice the high quality joinery and fabrics and what could be described as the “as new” condition of the interior of this very desirable yacht. A winning feature of this Deck Salon design is the wraparound windows and raised central area giving all-round visibility and the feeling of light and space.

The aft end of the salon has an excellent practical galley to starboard with double sinks, gas stove, a huge fridge and lots of practical stowage. Forward of this there is “U” shaped seating around the saloon table, opposite to port there are two “arm chairs” the chart table and navigation area. Aft of the navigation area is good sized heads compartment with separate shower stall that can be accessed from the salon or en-suite from the master cabin.

The luxury owner’s cabin aft can be accessed either side of the companionway steps and stretches across the full width of the boat, and boasts a centreline double berth and plenty of practical wardrobe / locker storage. The ever reliable Volvo engine has low running hours and there is excellent all round access for maintenance. The forward end of the salon has access to the forepeak area housing a further double berth, dressing-table, en-suite heads shower compartment and again excellent wardrobe locker space.
