'Chai' is a very good cruising yacht with a good suit of sails, autohelm ,radar,and colour plotter at the binnacle .She also benefits from inmast reefing. Her bow thruster makes manoeuvring in Marinas very easy.
For cruising comfort she has an Eberspacher heating system, pressurized hot and cold water and a shower in the large heads. Her galley is well equipped with an oven and refrigerator
When Jacques Faureux designed this very popular yacht he had family sailing in mind, with great passage making ability tied to really excellent living space.This has proved to be one of his most successful boats.
She is a capable cruiser very easily sailed single or short handed. Her standing rigging was renewed in 2011 and she had new sails from Sanders sails in 2012 .
Accommodation
Chai has very spacious accommodation and plenty of storage space throughout. The forward double berth has hanging lockers and under berth stowage. The large rear double berth again has lockers and under cushion storage space. The large saloon area can sleep three and comfortably seat 8 adults.
She has a well laid out galley with fridge and dry storage . The heads are large with hot and cold shower as well as a wet locker.
