Broker Remarks
The hull and deck are a composite of glass matting and Kevlar with internal foam sandwich. Alloy frame at mast bulkhead and full length alloy tubular space frame. Semi balanced spade rudder with tiller steering and extension. Pushpit, pulpit, stanchions and all wires in stainless steel. There is a small bathing platform on transom with boarding ladder.
Accommodation
The ¾ Tonner offers spacious cabin with good headroom. It can sleep up to eight, including four permanent berths and up to four pipe cots (one fitted and 3 provided loose).
This is a cruiser/racer and the internal layout reflects this. The accommodation plan is as follows starting in the bow: Forepeak with stowage for sails and general equipment. Heads compartment with Lavac sea toilet and wash basin. Main saloon has setee berths port and starboard with lee cloths attached.
Behind saloon berths is stowage. Galley on starboard side of companionway comprises of Gimballed single burner gas stove with oven and grill, Stainless steel sink with pressurised or manual water, plentiful storage for cutlery, pots and pans and provisions. On port side opposite galley is chart table with stowage and aft of this on both sides are quarter berths with lee cloths.
Mechanical and Rigging
Mechanical Systems:
The ¾ Tonner is power by a single Yanmar 2GM 15hp two-cylinder diesel engine, shaft drive to a 2 bladed folding propeller. Cutlass bearing and inboard shaft bearing replaced 2017. Last out of water service, anodes, antifoul etc April 2017.
Electrical Systems:
2 x 12-volt batteries charging from the engine alternator.
Spars & Sails:
Fractional Rig by Proctor new in 1995. Keel stepped mast with twin in line spreaders. Slab reefing main boom with rod kicker. Twin luff headfoil and spinnaker pole. Stainless steel rod standing rigging, renewed September 2011.
