Designed by Peter Brett, Rival 34's are well balanced and extremely sea worthy. They are very sturdy and ideal for long distance cruising. Lovingly maintained throughout its life this particular vessel has been in the same ownership for over 20 years. Extensively sailed throughout Europe and Scandinavia this Rival 34 is a true classic.
Accommodation
Accommodation for 6 berths, 2 provided in the forward cabin and 4 additional berths in the saloon. These comprise of a root berth over the settee on both the port and starboard sides. The saloon table also lowers to provide a double berth. All seating is covered in red/orange vinyl. Main saloon also offers table with seating for 4 persons, bulkhead located paraffin heater with integral chimney, stowage shelves and lockers, Florescent lighting, Barometer, Clock, and combined Temperature / Humidity meter. Aft to starboard lies a chart table and 1/4 berth with a folding canvas berth which is currently used for general stowage. The galley has a stainless steel sink with whale pump, 2 burner gas stove with grill and oven. Stowage both under and above sink. Gas bottle stowed under sink (approved by owner's current insurer). The heads are located forward in the vestibule between the saloon and the forward cabin. Opposite which is a full length hanging wardrobe
