The Princess 37 is a very well-regarded sea boat with good economy and sensible cruising speed thanks to its planing hull. “Hakan” is in clean, very good condition she still has some useful upgrades such as a bow thruster and stern thruster, upgraded Navionics. Thanks to the folding radar arch they are also well suited to exploring inland waterways or French canals making it a perfect candidate for long term cruising or live-aboard use.


Accommodation

The Princess 37 accommodation offers up to 5 berths in 3 cabins with full standing headroom throughout.

FORECABIN: Is fitted with a vee berth with excellent storage in various drawers and lockers. Opening hatch to foredeck.

HEADS COMPARTMENT: Aft and to starboard is a separate heads compartment with a marine toilet, wash basin, shower and storage.

OWNERS CABIN: Located to port and offering a large double berth, storage in various lockers and drawers, dressing area and access to en-suite.

EN-SUITE: Separate compartment with a Jabsco marine toilet, washbasin and shower.

GALLEY: Large U-shaped galley to starboard consisting of a 2-burner gas hob, grill and oven, twin stainless-steel sinks, 12v fridge and ample stowage.  Steps lead up to wheelhouse saloon.

SALOON: Fitted with a large L-shaped seating area with settee berth and table to port, helm position to starboard with folding table and cocktail cabinet aft. Patio type wheelhouse doors allow excellent access to the aft cockpit.

GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Pressurised hot and cold-water system via calorifier with immersion coil fitted. 6kw heating system. Carpets and curtains.

EXTERIOR SPACE: Aft cockpit with large lazarette locker providing excellent storage. Steps up to flybridge which has helm and aft bench seats. Swim platform.

Mechanical Systems

Located under wheelhouse sole, Twin Ford Mermaid 6.5l 180hp 6-cylinder diesel engines, last serviced March 2018. Freshwater cooled via heat exchangers. Dual single lever controls with electric start. Full engine instrumentation. Twin fuel tanks with approximately 1000 litre total capacity. Twin shaft drives powering 3-bladed bronze propellers via gearboxes. Both a bowthruster and stern thruster are fitted along with trim tabs.

Construction

Princess 37 built in 1975 by Marine projects to a John Bennett design. White V type planing hull and superstructure with non-slip deck surfaces. Aft self-draining cockpit. Twin helm position with cable steering to rudders.  This vessel has ben owned by the current owner since 2015. The vessel is currently ashore being prepared for next season.
