Broker Remarks

This Beneteau Oceanis 411 Celebration has a blue gelcoat hull and teak decks. Built in 2003 she has the additional performance pack with the tall mast, fully batten performance mainsail and deep fin keel. 2.3m The Celebration was a limited heavily specified edition of the Oceanis 411. The current owner has had the boat since November 2008 and has updated lots of the onboard equipment. She is rigged for Blue Water Cruising

The owner is only selling due to a lack of time and crew to sail the yacht due to work commitments

Accommodation

This yacht is the four cabin version which sleeps 8 people in four cabins with the option of an additional two berths in the saloon making 10 in total. .  

Forward Cabin:
The forward cabin has a double V shaped berth with storage beneath, shelves and a hanging locker. There is a deck hatch which makes the forward cabin light and airy.

Mid-ship Cabin:
The mid-ship cabin has two bunk beds with a small hanging locker again with opening hatch to provide good ventilation, a port hole for additional light and storage beneath the bunk. 

Forward Heads:
Opposite the mid-ship cabin is the forward heads which has a vanity unit with storage beneath, sink with hot and cold water, shower and marine toilet with a 80 litre holding tank.

Galley:
Aft of the Heads is the linear galley which has lots of storage space for crockery, cutlery, pops and pans. It is equipment with a one and half stainless sink with pressurised hot and cold water, a manual sea water pump, two burner stainless steel gimballed stove with oven, front opening fridge with large ice box, and separate coolbox.

Saloon:
The saloon has a large U-shaped settee with a central settee seat, with seat back storage,  providing all round seating of the large saloon table. Under seat storage. Saloon table with its aluminium legs drops to make an additional double berth.  The yacht is fitted with Eberspacher D5 diesel cabin heating which makes her feel very cosy. 

Navigation station:
Aft of the saloon is the large navigation station with chart table, shelves for storing books and instrumentation panel which has an array of navigation equipment.

Aft Heads:
Opposite the Navigation station is the aft heads. this again has a vanity unit with storage beneath, sink with hot and cold water, shower and marine toilet

Aft Cabins:
There are two aft identical double berth cabins which have hanging lockers and good ventilation provided by opening deck hatches. 

Cockpit:
Steps leadup to a large cockpit which has ample lockers and a large cockpit table . 

 

Mechanical and Rigging

Spars and sails:

The yachts has a Bermudan rig with deck stepped anodised aluminium mast  and boom with two spreaders and original stainless steel wire rigging. It has a fully battened mainsail with a 140% furling genoa. Furlex 300 furling gear and inner forestay. Genoa cars are adjustable form the cockpit.  The mainsail is set on roller bearing luff cars. Spinnaker pole and gear.

Winches:

Mechanical Systems:


Volvo D2-55HP 4 cylinder, freshwater cooled  diesel engine located under the companionway steps. More controls. Shaft drive to a 3 blade Darglow feather stream 19inch  feathering prop. Plastic fuel tank that holds approx. 160 litres. Yacht will cruise at 6 knots and has a maximum speed of 9 knots.

Electrical Systems:

5 x 12v batteries ( 4 domestic and 1 engine) charged by alternator, a battery charger via 240 volt shore power system and a Rutland 913 wind generator. Yacht is also fitted with a Galvanic isolator for additional protection from stray electrical currents.  240V Immersion heater.

History & Construction:

The Beneteau Oceanis 411 Celebration was built in 2003 and commission in 2004.  She has a blue gelcoat hull with white superstructure and teak decks. She spent the first part of her life in Devon and was sailed across to France, Channel Islands and the Isles of Scilly. She has been owned by the current owner since 2008 and has been used on the UK East Coast..

She was last out of the water over the winter of 2019/19 when her anodes were last changed. The engine has been maintained and regularly serviced by the owner . The hull has been copper coated from new.  

The owner is only selling as do to work commitments he doesn't have time to sail as often as he would like or the crew to assist him when he is available. This vessel is on the British Ships Part 1 register.
