A really fabulous example of the classic Nordic Folk Boat is for sale in Lymington , Hampshire. She has primarily been used for making fast cruises across channel and all along the South Coast, so she is setup for cruising. She has been well looked after. Her hull, mast,boom,sails are all is good condition. She has also been copper coated anti fouled for extra ease of ownership. She is stored ashore every winter under a cover and her condition reflects this. The interior wood and joinery are first class. She can sleep 4 and has an alcohol cooker. Her upholstery is in fine condition and she is generally a comfortable well presented Nordic Folk Boat.
She is currently ashore and can be viewed at any time. She comes with a working road trailer and many extra's including a new Yamaha 5 hp outboard which moves her along more than adequetly .
The main was new in 2011 from Hood and a new Hood genoa was put on her in 2012.
Nordic folk boats can be used for both racing and cruising. They sail extremely well and are very stable . They are one of the smaller craft that regularly make ocean crossings and circumnavigations. They also always do very well in races such as The round the Island race which they have been the overall winner on several occasions.
There is an extremely active Nordic Folk boat association who organize regular racing meets and general cruising rallies.

The Nordic folk boat sleeps 4 in a forward twin v berth and on two saloon berths. There is a galley area and plentiful storage throughout. She has a nice deep cockpit.
