Broker Remarks
Moody S31 for sale. Built from 1994 to 1998, this model was aimed at buyers wanting a bit more performance. With more draught than the previous Moody 31, as well as a longer waterline length and broader beam, she offers both more speed under sail and substantially more accommodation volume, including a large aft cabin.
'Yachting Monthly' used boat tested the Moody S31 in 2012 and wrote "....the S31 has a sense of space that belies her 31 ft length" and "....sails well and exudes competence ...... all in all a lovely airy, able boat".
Built in 1994 by Marine Projects in Plymouth, Devon. The vendors have owned the boat for seven years and now wish to devote time to the family. They say she is a boat that is easy to sail and offers good accommodation. They have undertaken various upgrades to the boat in their ownership.
GENIE of DARTMOUTH can sleep six with a surprisingly large and comfortable double aft cabin, a double ‘V’ berth in the forepeak and two settee conversions in the saloon.
Designed by Bill Dixon, this Moody S31 has a fin keel and Bermudan sloop rig. She is afloat on a river mooring in Dartmouth and available for viewing.
