Broker Remarks
MOODY 346 - "AZUCENA" (Centre cockpit) She was built in 1989 Lloyds hull moulding certificate (G3398). White GRP hull, deck and superstructure, fin keel and wheel steering. The Thorneycroft engine gives a max. boat speed of 7 knots. The engine has been fully serviced every year, regardless of usage. Heat exchanger tube stack replaced 2015 together with all new rubber gaiters and associated pipework. A new alternator drive belt was fitted in 2015. The prop shaft gland was also adjusted. The raw water pump has a speed seal fitted and the impeller was changed in 2014. A new engine thermostat and rad cap was replaced in 2015 and the gearbox oil replaced in 2014. The owner is a retired mechanical engineer and has carried out the engine and general boat maintenance to a very high standard.This boat has been out of the water every year until 4 years ago. Since then it has come out every other year and was last out Oct 2014. A new UV strip was fitted on genoa in 2013. The seacocks for the head inlet and engine inlet were replaced in 2012. All below water line seacocks were greased and checked every lift out and the fresh water pump was overhauled in 2012. The owner has most bills and documents from 1989 including proof of VAT payment. There have been 3 owners from new. The owner is giving up sailing and downsizing to a small motorboat. The present owner has only sailed in the Solent and comments that she is a very safe boat which instills confidence for all onboard.
