This Macwester 27 is in excellent condition and has been extensively refurbished with new items on both exterior and interior and has been well maintained. The inventory covers all the main requirement s for cruising  and is ready for immediate safe and comfortable cruising. This Macwester 27 is a lovely example of her type, a credit to her owner and should not be missed.

Accommodation

Double berth in forward cabin.
Single berths in saloon port side and another large single on the starboard side with saloon table conversion.
Saloon table.
Separate compartment fitted with a sea toilet and hand basin.
Cabin heating provided by a Eberspacher hot air system(still to be connected to fuel supply).

Galley:
The galley is situated on the port side and is equipped with a Plastimo Neptune 2000 two burner gas cooker, oven and grill.
Also equipped with good storage and a stailess steel sink.

Mechanical and Rigging

Perkins HH35119U 25hp diesel engine fitted 2008, only run 20 hours and last serviced October 2013.
Shaftdrive through a PRM 80D2 gearbox to a fixed 3 bladed propellor.

Construction:
This Macwester 27 was designed by C.S.J. Roy and built by Macwester Marine in 1973.
The hull, coachroof are constructed in GRP with teak laid cockpit seats recently renewed.
Hull is finished in Oxford blue.
New stainless steel deck fittings and rudder stock.
New rubbing strake.
Refurbished internal joinery.
Extended bilge keels with skeg hung rudder.
Hull epoxy coated with Gelshield.
New headlinings.
New hardwood centre folding door to replace washboards.

Spars and Rigging:
Sloop rigged, deck stepped mast fitted with stainless steel standing rigging.
Gold anodised alloy IYE mast and boom.

Sails:
Slab reefing main(1999) only used twice.
Spare mainsail
Furling genoa.
Hank on Storm Jib.
Hank on headsail.

Electrics:
12V system with 2 switched batteries.
240V shorepower system and shorepower cable.

Tankage:
40litre stainless steel diesel tank.
70 litre stainless steel fresh water tank.

Water System:
Cold manually pumped water to galley and heads.
