Mechanical and Rigging

Mechanical 
The old engine and saildrive was removed and a new Vetus M2.18 engine with ZF saildrive was installed. At the same time, the fuel tank was replaced with a new polythene unit 40L.

The Standing Rigging was replaced in 2018

The Running Rigging is Dyneema.

An honest example of a performance racer

Moved to the owner's yard in 2020, put under cover then blasted with glass beads to open up any blisters. Washed twice with hot water pressure washer then left to dry for 5 months before epoxy coating the hull, then painting both above and below the waterline. The painting was completed with Grey epoxy paint and UV additive above the waterline and sprayed on antifouling onto the epoxy below the waterline.

Fin Keel
Original plans from Bruce Farr's office were purchased for the keel profile, the keel was then stripped and faired to the original specification, being finished with epoxy undercoat and spayed on antifoul 
(The keel matrix was repaired in 2018) 

Spade Rudder
A new rudder and bearings from Jefa was installed

Electrical
All wiring was replaced in 2020/2021 using tinned wire throughout.
Domestic and Engine starter batteries are new
All fittings and a charge control for the supply from the engine and a 240v system with a mains battery charger
All lighting is LED (except stern white light)
