Broker Remarks

Kuiper 41 bilge keel sailing yacht for sale. Originally built in Holland for the founder of Kuiper yachts, "Fereale" is a steel cruising yacht designed for long-distance live-aboard sailing.

Built in 1981 with a multi chined steel hull and aluminium deck, Fereale has a bespoke twin keel arrangement, masthead rig with a fully battened mainsail, furling genoa and removable inner forestay. Standing rigging replaced in 2019. The boat is strong, well balanced and a delight to sail.

Fereale is extensively equipped and includes a generator, heating, hot water, Aries self-steering system, AIS receiver, radar, chart plotter and so much more.

In the broker's opinion Fereale has been lovingly maintained and operated by her owners.  Her owners have undertaken some interesting and exciting sailing including North Russia, Finland, Sweden and Norway. Fereale presents in superb condition throughout. Viewing is highly recommended.

Accommodation

Below decks, Fereale is beautifully finished in teak joinery, teak planked ceiling and carpet to floors. The layout is practical, stylish and comfortable. The layout incorporates a large owner's double cabin forward, good sized saloon, galley and chart table area. A passageway to starboard provides heads/shower, passage berths and access to an excellent engine room/workshop where many of the ships machinery systems can be accessed for ease of maintenance. Aft is an additional guest cabin with separate heads and additional access to the cockpit. Fereale can be comfortably divided into separate living quarters and privacy for guest and owners alike but would also work well as a family yacht.

Standing headroom measurements:
Saloon / galley 192cm
Fore cabin 179cm
Companionway through to aft cabin 167cm
Aft cabin 173cm with floor sloping upwards from entrance to 162cm.
