Broker Remarks

This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40.3 for sale with Network Yacht Brokers Plymouth is an exceptional yacht, she presents like new boat! The owners have truly loved this yacht and her condition is a testament to their care.
She has always been maintained locally by marine professionals and has just had her end of season service.
The owner has had this Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40.3 from new and has enjoyed every minute of it, with regular cruises around the Southwest coast and the occasional trip to the Channel Islands and West coast of France.
The owners of this Jeanneau Sun Odyssey are experienced and keen sailors, their trips out are always under sail, very rarely is the engine used, hence there is only 210 running engine hours.
This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40.3 has in mast mainsail furling and all of the control lines lead aft, so short handed cruising is very manageable.
She is the owner's version with two cabins, which is great as you really appreciate the extra space. The forward cabin is enormous as is the aft cabin and often the case is that you rarely sail with more than four people onboard, however should you wish to take an extra couple, she has the benefit of the saloon table converting to a double berth.
If you are looking for a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40.3 then you should look no further as this boat is more or less a new boat she is excellent!

Owners Remarks:
We originally approached Jeanneau to test sail their 37ft Sun Odyssey but having also been offered a test sail in the 40.3 decided she was a superior model. We choose to kit her out with in-mast reefing and roller genoa for ease of sailing for the majority of our cruises as a couple. This was further enhanced with the excellent Raymarine ST6001 autopilot with giro upgrade, which can be coupled with the C80 chart giving you a fully automatic navigation system that could easily be sailed single handed.  When needed the Yanmar 54hp engine gives a very powerful backup.

The majority of our cruising from our home port of Plymouth was in the West Country, ranging from Falmouth in the west to Brixham in the east, including our favorite port of Fowey.

Since we purchased Celtic Breeze in 2006 she has each year spent time ashore for servicing, anti fouling etc. records of engine maintenance are available. Sails have regularly been cleaned at end of season and remain in good order.

Celtic Breeze is the third cruiser and second Jeanneau we have owned and definitely our favorite to sail. The twin wheels and seating positions on board give a very relaxed sail. The internal accommodation coupled with spacious cockpit layout enhances the sailing experience.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our years with Celtic Breeze, we have many wonderful memories.
