Broker Remarks
The Fantasia is a yacht that both sails well and offers a very good standard of accommodation. The type sold well-over 1800 were built during a production run from 1982-1996. The combination of a sleek hull shape with the volume more associated with much more modern yachts, gives the Fantasia good performance and a bright open saloon with a practical galley area. The stern cabin and the heads are both of a good size. There is plenty of storage space for extended cruising and in this particular example, the benefit of twin bilge keels which allows for her to take the ground safely.
Athene II is a very well maintained example of the type, continuously upgraded by successive owners. Lightly used in recent years she has been lifted out annually. Her engine has been professionally serviced and maintained, always starting first kick for her present owner. For those wanting to race Round the Island, there is a spinnaker and aluminium
pole. For those seeking greater comfort and safety there are spray dodgers that assist in enclosing the cockpit and all lines are led aft. There is also the significant benefit of bilge keels, allowing access to interesting shallower cruising areas with confidence and also cheaper moorings and lift out charges. It is little wonder that the yacht sold so well for Jeanneau and now you have the opportunity to buy a lot of boat for the money.

the heads has an electric flush. Once you have experienced this luxury you will never want to go back to the primitive business of pumping out by hand!
