Description
A well-maintained and very comfortable 2002 Hunter 386, ready and equipped to sail long passages. A lot of love and care has gone into Nightshade, and we have spent many months living aboard, making the yacht an enjoyable home. We have decided to sell as we will be moving to Austria to pursue other life-goals. The yacht has had one previous owner before us (bought it in 2015).

Nightshade has been recently refurbished (2019). We have cleaned, polished, and completed a full removal and replacement of the old hard antifouling with a high-quality epoxy coating and ablative type antifouling. There has never been any osmosis or hull problems and the yacht has been generally cared for in all other areas. Additionally, the yacht features a unique swirl design on both sides of the hull on top of a recently polished and waxed gelcoat. Should you wish to rename, the logo is easily removed (high-quality cast vinyl).

Manufacturer description

The Hunter 386 is an evolutionary boat that comes from the finest of innovation and consumer input. Comfort, convenience and livability is what the 386 is all about. Abundant natural light streams in from the Hunter signature windshield as well as the many fixed and screened ports, not to mention the multiple overhead hatches which also provide a tremendous amount of fresh air. At anchor, or at the dock, the placement of the ports assures great ventilation, and reverse cycle air and heat are an optional choice. Entertaining or handling the family is easy with the enlarged salon complete with a convertible dinette and facing settee. Storage is plentiful as is electronic space at the integrated nav station. A Corian-covered, full-service galley comes complete right down to the dishware, and any chef will adore the side-by-side ice boxes and top-loading trash bin set each side of the double basin, stainless sink.

The private forward stateroom on the Hunter 386 includes an en suite vanity with sink and storage, as well as plenty of hanging locker and drawer storage. Aft, the master stateroom has a large queen berth and more storage. Privacy is enhanced by the dual access head that offers a Corian-covered vanity, electric marine head, and shower stall all wrapped in a complete fiberglass shell for easy cleaning and maintenance. A tri-cabin version is also available for those who want to accommodate even more family or friends. On deck, the cockpit is designed for the comfort of the skipper and crew, not for the ease of the builder. By bringing the coaming out to the gunnels, Hunter has increased the overall space to incredible proportions to include seating for eight. A custom console with folding table leaves is perfect for those al fresco meals.

Un Hunter 386 2002 muy bien mantenido y muy comodo, listo y equipado para navegar largos pasajes. Nightshade ha recibido mucho amor y cariño, el proprietario ha pasado muchos meses viviendo a bordo, haciendo del yate un hogar agradable. Ahora han decidido vender ya que se mudan a Austria para perseguir otros objetivos de vida. El yate ha tenido un propietario anterior antes que ellos (los actuales proprietarios lo compraron en 2015). Nightshade ha sido recientemente renovado (2019). Hemos limpiado, pulido y completado una remocion completa y reemplazo del viejo antifouling duro con un recubrimiento epoxy de alta calidad y antiincrustante de tipo ablativo. Nunca ha habido problemas de osmosis o casco y el yate ha sido atendido en general en todas las areas. Ademas, el yate presenta un diseno unico en ambos lados del casco sobre un gelcoat recientemente pulido y encerado.
