Broker Remarks
The Halcyon 27 was designed in 1968 by Alan Buchanan, as a development of the earlier 'Diamond II' design, and about 200 were built by Offshore Yachts. With a full keel and transom-hung rudder, they are a solid cruising boat with good sailing performance in all conditions.
Long keel is the choice of the long distance sailor, a long keel sailboat will happily plough through the seas mile after mile and give a feeling of stability to the helm. Sometimes a wetter ride than on a fin or bilge but without doubt the keel choice for the larger blue water cruiser.

Saloon:-
Up Spirits has a large and spacious saloon with plenty of natural light. She has Comfortable seating either side of the saloon and a removable dinning table to port.
The saloon seating also doubles up as two single berths with under berth stowage.
The Chart table is situated to starboard and galley to port.
Forepeak cabin:-
V berth configuration in the forward cabin. A centre infill makes up the comfortable double berth.
