Broker Remarks
Beautifully restored Fairey Huntsman. Lovingly restored over the last 10 years, countless man hours later, and let’s not even talk about money spent, she is looking rather splendid. From structure to painting, she has been gone through bow to stern. Hundreds of screws in the hull have painstakingly been replaced, side deck reinforcement, new windscreens and windscreen surrounds, the list goes on and on. Pretty much every part of the boat has had work done. The engines were removed, fully overhauled and put back in the boat. She fires up instantly on the flick of the key. She is fitted with her original Perkins 6354 engines, which are pushing about 160hp each. The noise is just to die for & she is ready to be used.
She was re-wired and had a new galley fitted, along with a new WC. Totally re-upholstered throughout, along with new headlining and side linings. Lying St Helier, Channel Islands. She has a Jersey long keel and drying legs.

I’ve owned her for 12 years during that time I’ve carried out all the woodwork repairs needed, from beams under the deck, supports under side decks
& various bulkheads, seating & galley area, as the vents in the roof allowed fresh water to come in & caused issues below.
The teak deck is original & in good shape, all parts have been re-chromed at a cost of £4000, powder coated seat frames & new cushions etc etc etc.
Hard wood & quality marine ply has been used to carry out repairs, with International 2 pack epoxy.
The double diagonal 3 layered Agba is in good order & the 2 areas of the hull that where of concern where layered in a similar way.
The starboard engine was rebuilt & the port engine had a cylinder head gasket replaced, both had new injectors etc
Gearboxes are Borg Warner.
All work has been carried out under the supervision of 2 qualified & time served shipwrights.
