2007 Sealine F42/5
The Sealine F42/5 is undoubtedly one of the best flybridges built by Sealine. This particular example of the F42/5 comes with the much preferred two cabin layout. In addition it benefits from the economy and performance of the common rail technology of the Volvo D6 435hp engine. .This motorboat is well equipped with full Raymarine navigation equipment, heating, teak cockpit and flybridge. It also benefits from the fact that the boat has just had a major engine service. Owners are selling due to health. Internal photos to follow. A 2020 survey is available on request.

Accommodation

This Sealine F42/5  can sleep up to six people in two cabins and the saloon.

The forward, Owners Cabin has a large centreline double berth with storage beneath with a single wardrobe. There is an en-suite heads compartment to port with an electric flush toilet, wash basin and separate shower cubical with pressurised hot and cold water.   

Aft of the owners cabin and to starboard is the guest cabin with twin singles. The guest cabin has a small wardrobe and access to the second heads compartment which also has an electric flush toilet, wash-basin and shower.  This head can also be accessed from the saloon/galley are.

The galley to port has a two burner gas hob, oven and grill, fridge with freezer box, stainless steel sink with mixer tap. The galley area has excellent storage space for both cooking utensils, pots and pans and food.

Opposite the galley and up a step is the double helmsman seat which provides good visibility. The helm area has a good array of navigation instruments and space for charts and navigation books.

Aft of the helmsman's seat is the U-shaped saloon seating the fits around the folding leaf dining table. There is another single settee opposite can be used as a berth. Both of these seating areas can be used as single berths. the seating is covered in a light champagne leather upholstery. 

The large patio doors lead out on to the teak cockpit area with the Sealine extended cockpit system. There is a wet bar with fridge to port in the cockpit area and a large storage locker under the cockpit sole. The cockpit has a large full cockpit enclosure which extends the use of the cockpit area. 

The teak laid steps lead up to the flybridge which has a double helm seat which can swivel to face starboard when entertaining. the Starboard side flybridge seating with further seating aft which can convert to a large sun pad.

This motorboat has a real light and airy feel to it but with the blinds, warm upholstery colour and diesel cabin heating can feel very warm and cosy on cold evenings. 

Mechanical and Rigging

The Sealine F42/5 is fitted with the more popular Volvo Penta D6 6-cylinder turbo charged 435Hp diesel engines with electronic controls. the engines have completed 3855 hours as at the 20th September 2021. Shafts lead to 4-blade fixed bronze props. The engines had a full overhaul in August 2021.

Fitted with twin 1400 litre fuel tanks this boat will cruise with the assistance of the trim tabs at approximately 22 knots and has a maximum speed of approximately 32 knots. The vessel is also fitted with a Max Power bowthruster with controls at both helm positions. . 


Electrical Systems

5 x 12Volt batteries, (2 x engine, 2 x domestic and 1 x bowthruster) all new in 201. Charging from 240V shore power battery charger and engine alternator. The rings mains also heats the hot water when plugged berthed in the marina.

History and Construction

The Sealine F42/5 was built in 2007. It has a white hull with white superstructure with teak cockpit and flybridge sole. She has had three owners including the current owner from new. The previous owners used the vessel for skippered charters hence the slightly high engine hours but she has been well maintained.  Last out of the water in August 2021 when the engines had a full overhaul, hull was polished , stern glands re-packed anodes changed, antifouled. The boat has been owned by the current owners since February 2020 but is being sold due to a change in owners health condition.
