With her moderate free-board, pleasing lines, low coach-roof and reverse transom she is an attractive boat. She offers good sailing performance and is considered a great cruising yacht. This example has been well maintained and is presented in excellent condition. Viewing is strongly recommended.

Accommodation

Comfortable mahogany interior which berths up to 9 persons. Fore Cabin: Double berth with fresh water tank beneath with large double storage locker. Access to transducers. Fiddled shelves in mahogany to both hull sides. Wardrobe to starboard with hanging rail and fiddled shelf. Timber lining to upper hull side, moulded headlining to coach-roof and vinyl panels to deckhead. Opening hatch with Goiot ventilator. Halogen overhead light with reading lights both sides. Saloon: U-shaped settee to port with stowage underneath and cave lockers behind and hull side. In-fill for double berth conversion. Settee to starboard with stowage underneath and cave lockers to hull side. Mahogany fiddled shelves outboard on both sides. Teak cupboards port and starboard. Feature mahogany covered mast support. Double drop leaf table with bottle stowage. Teak and holly soles. Overhead halogen lights with reading lights both sides. Full length handrails either side. Vinyl headlining with timber battens to coachroof. 220v power point.

Aft Cabin:
Double berth with teak fiddled shelf outboard and shelf at head. Double wardrobe with hanging rail and fiddled shelf. Halogen light and reading light. Opening port window. Access in this cabin to batteries, steering gear, exhaust, engine cooling fan, engine and saildrive unit, etc.

Galley:

Classic L-shaped galley with corian worktops including lids to stainless steel sinks with storage underneath. Pedestal mixer tap with hot and cold water. Large integral Waeco fridge. Two burner Eno gas cooker with oven and stainless steel crash-bar. Adjacent bottle stowage. Adjacent high level cupboard and separate crockery stowage behind Perspex sliding doors. Opening port window.

Heads:
Fully moulded compartment with shower pump. Marine sea-toilet. Wash basin with hot and cold mixer tap and integral shower head. Corian work surfaces. Wet locker with hanging rail. Opening mirrored cabinet. Integral cupboard under sink with stowage and access to seacocks. Opening port window. Navigation station: Separate forward facing chart table with integral chart stowage and shelved cupboards underneath. Nav seat with stowage under. High level cupboard outboard with shelf. Opening port window. Ample space for instruments outboard adjacent to the comprehensive switch panel. Companionway: Teak steps with engine access underneath. Cave locker housing battery isolator switches. Teak grab handles to either side. Polycarbonate hatch complete with two-part washboards. Water: Hot and cold pressurised water system. Water heated by calorifier - with immersion element also.

Mechanical and Rigging

Construction:
Built by Dufour Yachts of La Rochelle, France in 1997 to a J & J Design. She has a white GRP hull, deck and superstructure on a cast iron 1,500kg ballasted fin keel. Leather covered steering wheel to semi-eliptic rudder. Self draining cockpit.

Mechanical:
Volvo MD2030 30hp, 3 Cylinder, diesel engine, via single lever morse control and sail-drive unit to a two bladed prop.

Rigging:
Bermudan rigged sloop on aluminium spars, twin swept back spreaders and stainless steel standing rigging plus running rigging for a spinnaker. Slab reefing main and furling foresail. Main (Mouse Sails - 2009) Genoa Storm jib (unused)
2 x Lewmar 40 self tailing sheet winches and 2 x Lewmar 30 coach roof mounted winches.
Rigged replaced 2003

3 x 12 volt 75 amp/hour batteries charging from 55 amp alternator on the engine.
240 volt shore power system with battery charger, immersion heater and ring mains.
