Broker Remarks
Dufour 1800s are much loved classic trailer sailers built by Dufour in the 70s and designed by Laurent Cordelle. This particular vessel is presently stored on her road trailer ready to move to new destinations. Built in 1979 she is in good condition and is particularly good performer in light airs.
Accommodation
The Dufour 1800 sleeps 4, with a forward double V berth and also a single berth on the starboard and port side of the saloon area which has 1.75 metre headroom. A separate chemical toilet compartment is located forward on the port side with a wash basin opposite. Saloon heating is provided by a gas heater.
Galley:
The galley situated on the starboard side is equipped with a 2 burner gas cooker with grill.
Also fitted with a sink with manually pumped fresh water supply.
Mechanical and Rigging
Built in 1979 by Dufour, both hull and decks are constructed of GRP, centreboard keel and the interior is fitted out in teak veneer and upholstered in soft light brown cloth.
Mechanical:
Powered by a Suzuki 6hp outboard (2003) with 30 hours of logged use.
Presently stored on her road trailer which is in good condition.
Rigging and Sails:
Masthead rigged with stainless steel standing rigging.
Aluminium spars with roller furling headsail and slab reefing main.
Mast, standing and running rigging renewed Sept 2009.
Sail wardrobe consists of two mainsails, genoa and nearly new cruising chute.
