A nice example of a tiller steered cruiser with plenty of headroom and power. The combination of the wing keel and beach legs make this Dockrell 27 almost as flexible as a conventional bilge keeler. Accommodation
5 berths are provided across two cabins. The forward cabin offers a V berth with infill to provide a double. The main saloon has two settees which offer a single bunk to port and a drop leaf double to starboard. Generous headroom throughout. The galley comprises of a Tilley 2 burner cooker with grill, Coolbox, and manual foot operated galley pump. Forward to port are the heads containing a Jabsco sea toilet and wash hand basin. Opposite there is a hanging wet locker. The navigation desk is located aft to starboard.
Mechanical and Rigging
Yanmar 2GM20, 18 HP Diesel engine. Shaft driven with fixed 3 bladed prop. Crusing speed = 6 knots, Maximum speed = 7 knots 9.5 Gallon fuel tank, 28 Gallon water tank. Slab reefed main sail with packamain (2001), Staysail, Yankee, and Genoa (2000). Colnebrook headsail furling gear (2001). Anodised aluminium alloy mast & spars. x 2 Primary sheet winches, x2 Secondary halyard winches
