Broker Remarks
Beautiful and well maintained example of the Dehler 36 CWS. The ethos behind this boat shines through and she will appeal to both the cruising family and the racing fraternity thanks to her ease of handing, her speed and her generous accommodation. She is a fun, good looking craft with an inventory that will appeal to all. With constant upgrades through the years, which is available on request, a December 2019 survey report is also available, there is little to do to her. Viewing highly recommended.
Accommodation
The accommodation offers six berths in three cabins. The forward cabin has a V-berth with storage space under. Hatch to the foredeck. The Heads has a marine toilet, shower and washbasin to starboard with hanging locker opposite. It has pressurised hot and cold water.
The Saloon has a U shaped dinette to starboard, converting to double berth. A fixed central table with drop leaf. The Galley opposite has a Dometic 3 burner gas cooker with oven and grill (2020). Microwave. 12v fridge. Twin stainless steel sinks with pressurised hot and cold water heated by the engine via a heat exchanger and 240v immersion heater. Generous storage and worktop area with integral grab rails. 300 litre water capacity in a plastic tank. Chart table with fold-out seat. The upholstery is grey throughout
Aft cabin with large double berth. Hanging locker. Separate heads compartment aft with marine toilet, washbasin and shower. Wet locker. Curtains and carpets. Eberspacher diesel cabin heating throughout. Radio/CD TV/DVD Player.

Fractional rigged Bermudan sloop. Deck stepped Sparcraft aluminium silver anodized mast and Stainless steel standing rigging. Backstay tensioner. Terylene running rigging (replaced on a continuing basis) with all lines led aft to the central winching system. Rod kicker. Spinnaker pole. Electric Lewmar 43 self-tailing central control line winch. Two Lewmar 30 self-tailing sheet winches. Furlex headsail furling system. Battened mainsail with slab reefing and lazy jacks.

Mechanical Systems
Located abaft the companionway, Yanmar 3GM three-cylinder 27hp diesel engine (last serviced Feb 2023). Freshwater cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft drive to three blade max prop propeller. There is an engine instrument panel with keyless ignition, tachometer and single lever engine controls. 180 litre fuel capacity in stainless steel tank giving approximately 300-mile range at 6 knots cruising speed. Maximum 7.5 knots. The engine has been serviced annually since 2007 and records have been kept. Last out of water maintenance December 2021.

Construction
This Dehler 36 CWS was built by Dehler Yachts in 1990 to a design by Van de Stadt to Germanischer Lloyds. White GRP hull with style stripes. Hand laid laminate with Kevlar stiffening and Balsa core above the waterline. Galvanised steel reinforcement in way of keel and mast supports. White GRP superstructure with non-slip decks. Aft self-draining cockpit. Cast iron fin keel. Semi-balanced Spade rudder. Wheel steering. Rubber rubbing strakes.
Antifouled and anodes replaced December 2021. The hull was epoxied as a preventative measure in 2014. There has been two previous owners.
