Sailboat Franmars Standfast 40, registered in Poland, is based in Alicante and has just been antifouled, polished, freshly painted, and laid in the port. 

The deck needs to be repainted. The rigging and motor are in good condition and have been recently checked. The boat needs general maintenance, everyday things for a second-hand boat of this age!! All the hatches have been replaced.

Additional information 

Engine: We think the engine is original, although the seller does not know as he has no proof; the seller bought this boat in June 2020, which was British-registered, in Belgium, and then Polish. The current seller replaced the engine water pump, filter, oil, belt, and injectors, which have been reviewed and general maintenance this year to maintain correct functioning.

Standing rigging: The seller does not know the age of it, but it has been checked, and he says it is in good condition.

Sails: The seller does not know the age, nor does the previous owner know, but they said they are in good shape.

Refrigeration: D.C. Or only icebox? Icebox

Heat or Air conditioning? No, none of them. There is a water heater, but the seller does not know if this is working.

Solar panel and wind generator from past photos? One solar panel at the stern powers a battery (in total, there are three batteries). There is a wind generator.

Windlass: specs say: " electric windlass can be provided" explain. The previous owner left in the boat an electric windlass, but it is not installed, and the current seller never used it and did not know if it would work if installed. 

Size and length of Chain and anchors? One anchor at the bow and a second anchor. No more than 30 meters. He will send me a photo.

Safety equipment: 8 Lifejackets with light serviced, kit of flares, Liferaft without a certificate ( better if you buy new because we do not have info)

3x Fire Extinguishers 

He also recently replaced the general water pump, and the counter of revolution has been replaced. When he bought it, the boat needed much maintenance and has been doing so for years. He also replaced all hatches. 

Navigation Equipment should be renewed.
