Without a doubt one of the prettiest yachts you will ever have the fortune to see. Everywhere this Lady goes she gets admiring glances from those who know and hundreds of questions from those who dont.
Built in GRP by Swedish builder Fisksatra Varv in the late 70's to a Knud Reimers design. She also goes under the guise of a Swede 41 and although 12.5 metres overall she has a water line length of only 9.00. With her narrow beam and fine entry, she is superb to handle and excellent in light airs. She is in lovely condition as she really wasn't sailed until 2018 when her present custodians put her back together after she had sat ashore for the best part of 20 years. This means her engine is in great condition and her sails which were New 20 years ago and unused are in super shape.
She is ready to go and has the added bonus of recent sail drive seal replacement and new standing rigging.
Nicely appointed accommodation with separate aft cabin accessed from the cockpit, a comfortable saloon with two good sized singles and a large double in the forepeak. The interior headlining is easy clean GRP as are the settee and berth bases. Interior cabinet wirk, bulkheads and trim is all solid teak or teak faced marine ply. Headroom is an acceptable 5'10" at the chart table and galley. Attractive burnt orange upholstery on all berths and saloon. Galley with new 2-burner gas hob and oven, top loading fridge and manual pumped fresh water. There is also a water saving sea water pump for washing dishes.
Chart table with storage and switch panel. Additional storage and hanging space opposite galley.
Forward of the saloon bulkhead is the heads compartment to starboard with New marine toilet in 2020, pull out sink with hand pumped fresh water and storage. Opposite is a further hanging space and cubby hole storage shelves. Currently there is a privacy blind separating the heads from the saloon. The original door was removed but is available should the next custodian wish it reinstated.
Double berth in forepeak with infill.Hull mounted shelf stowage. Opening roof hatch for ventilation.
- New oven 2018
- New Jabsco toilet 2020
- Separate aft cabin

Flat working fordeck with large anchor well. Stainless steel bow rails with open top section. Stainless steel bow fitting with bow roller. Aft cabin access with sliding hatch and wooden vented washboard. Attractive teak topped cockpit coamings. Varnished wooden tiller handle with tiller extension.
Vessel was ashore for around 20 years hence her excellent topside condition and dry hull.Engines & Electrics
Vessel is powered by a reliable and economical Volvo Penta MD7A, inboard diesel. The engine is in excellent condition for her years as she had 20 years off, moth balled out of service whilst the boat stood ashore. She starts quickly with no smoke.
She has had new water hoses, throttle cables over the past couple of years more as a precautionary measure due to length of time ashore. Also changed was the exhaust elbow, new alternator at the same time as new batteries and a complete service. Her propulsion is a Volvo sail drive unit with 2-bladed folding propeller. The seal of the sail drive was replaced in 2018 as per manufacturers guidelines.
Bank of 2X12V batteries provide engine start and domestic power. These are fitted with isolators and are recharged via the engine alternator. Shore power cable. Internal 3-pin sockets with USB chargers.
